Great cast, & when I like a story/character it's nice to see other interpretations.
It's a timeless classic enjoyed by millions; Gonna Happen.

The Alistair Sim version was far and away the best. Now it's time to leave it alone. I can't imagine any improvement that Jim Carrey would bring to it.

I agree, the Alistair Sim version is the classic but I love the story so much, I have enjoyed others - George C. Scott did a masterful job and yes, I liked the Muppets version. Scrooged, the musical was awful as was the Bill Murray version. I hope that Jim Carrey does not get to weird.

Subject: Another Christmas Carol Movie?

I love A Christmas Carol and enjoy Jim Carrey, but you kind of get tired of the same movies every few years. Who needs another Christmas Carol movie? Now original is that? Not at all. I won't be wasting my money on seeing this one.
