- Jackie Earle Haley and Bella Heathcoate are in talks to join "Dark Shadows", the horror thriller that Tim Burton will direct based on the 60s TV soap.
- Jackie Earle Haley will play the role of Willie Loomis, who in the soap, was a notorious con artist who went to Collinwood bent on swindling the reclusive matriarch Elizabeth Collins Stoddard.
- Heathcoate will play Victoria Winters, the young governess of the Collins estate.
