| Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close: Goodman joins the cast |

- John Goodman has joined the cast of "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" that Stephen Daldry is directing with Sandra Bullock and Tom Hanks starring.
The story follows Oskar, a 10-year old boy who loses his father in the Sept. 11 attacks and goes on a cathartic journey to deal with his loss. He scours New York for information relating to the key left behind by his father and meets an assortment of people along the way.
- Goodman will portray a doorman in Oskar's apartment building who goes on a trip to exhume the father's coffin.
- Filming is set to start soon with a release planned to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center.
