- Film Movement has acquired U.S. distribution rights for "If I Want to Whistle, I Whistle", the dramatic thriller that won the Grand Jury prize at the 2010 Berlin Film Festival and is Romania's official entry for this year's Academy Awards.
- The film, written by Catalin Mitulescu, centers on an 18-year-old about to be released from a juvenile detention center.
- A January 5, 2011 release is set for New York City.
