13: Rourke, Statham and 50 Cent join the cast of the remake Mon October 20, 2008 Return to Film News According to Variety, 50 Cent, Mickey Rourke and Jason Statham have signed on to star opposite Sam Riley in 13, director Gela Babluani's remake of his French-language film "13 Tzameti,", which won the 2006 Sundance Grand Jury Prize. The story centers on a naive young man, assumes a dead man's identity and finds himself embroiled in an underground world of power, violence, and chance where men gamble behind closed doors on the lives of other men. Film-Releases.com has also learned that Jon Hamm (of TV's Mad Men) and Bradley Cooper (Failure to Launch) are in talks to join the project, which starts shooting this November in and around New York City.
