Season of the Witch: Nicolas Cage to star in the medieval thriller

Nicolas Cage will next star in the medieval supernatural thriller Season of the Witch, for Relativity Media.

The film, to be directed by Dominic Sena, follows the journey of 14th century knights transporting a girl suspected of being the witch responsible for spreading the Black Plague. It is scheduled to start filming in early November in Austria and Hungary.
The screenplay was written by Bragi Schut Jr.
