The Green Hornet: Stephen Chow to direct and co-star as Kato Sat September 20, 2008 Return to Film News Variety reports that Stephen Chow (Kung Fu Hustle) has signed on to direct The Green Hornet. Chow will also co-star in the film, portraying the Green Hornet's similarly masked manservant Kato. Seth Rogen has already boarded the Columbia Pictures project, as the Green Hornet.
