Julie Andrews will join the cast of The Tooth Fairy, the Fox family comedy which already includes Dwayne Johnson and Ashley Judd.
Also on board are Stephen Merchant (from TV's Extras and co-creator of The Office) and pro skateboarder Ryan Sheckler.
The film centers on Derek Thompson (Johnson), a minor league hockey player, nicknamed "The Tooth Fairy" for his tendency to loosen molars and bicuspids while working. When he discourages a youngster's hope, Derek is tapped by Magical Forces to be the real Tooth Fairy and to save the tooth fairy kingdom. Along the way, he rediscovers his forgotten dreams.
Andrews will play Lily, a high-ranking, acerbic supervisor with the Tooth Fairy Department charged with overseeing Derek's stint as a tooth fairy.
Filming begins in October in Vancouver.
