The big screen adaptation of "Kane & Lynch" is gearing up again with a new team. Gerard Butler is in talks to star as Kane with F. Gary Gray set to direct the action thriller. The duo previously worked together in 2009's "Law Abiding Citizen".
The story follows Kane, a death row inmate who, along with a schizophrenic killer named Lynch, is sprung from prison to retrieve a stolen fortune. Kane travels to Los Angeles, Japan and Cuba, with Lynch acting as the team's watchdog in order to save his wife and daughter.
Vin Diesel has an offer to play Lynch but is not officially on board yet.
