why remake a movie that was not that good to begin with a weak story that only did well cause it was up against the weak movies of the 80's and people were in it for the underdog .this is not a story you can tell twice and will smiths kid is staring come on my dads rich can i remake stupid old movies too

YOU ARE HAVING A LAUGH ARNT YOU? THIS FILM FRANCHISE WAS OUT WHEN I WAS A KID AND GRANTED EPISODES 3 AND 4 WERE BAD, THE 1ST FILM WAS WATCHABLE AS WAS THE 2ND. FILMS YOU REMEMBER FROM YOUR CHILDHOOD STICK WITH YOU FOREVER AND I ENJOYED THE KARATE KID FOR REASONS UNBEKNOWN TO ME, BUT HEY NO ONES PERFECT. REMAKES ARE 90% CRAP ANYWAY BUT THERE ARE A FEW EXEPTIONS,, YOU CANT REMAKE A CHILDHOOD CLASSIC!
