    I want an awesome story. Dark Horse Comics has been puting some very good stories of Conan out. Born on the Battlefield would be a great story to start a new franchise with.

    A remake would be cool ... darker, meaner, more out there ... the Arnie one was ok, but kind of lame compared to the books character ... Conan was never born into slavery and taught weapons/fighting ... he was a savage from the northern lands that had his first taste of raiding and pillaging at age 16 ... not another Hollywood pathetic remake please :-P

    I agree, it must have Arnie if it's to be remade. They can call it: Conan - Return of the Slightly PreGeriatric Post Coronary Lunkhead With No Leadership Skills.
    Get real people, Arnie is so past his prime it's not even funny, and he never could act. He got all of his roles only because he looked the part. Now, I do agree that wrestling is stupid, but that doesn't mean that a former wrestler can't be a decent actor. Dwayne Johnson is 4 times the actor that Arnie ever was. I for one will give this a chance, before deciding whether it sucks or not.

    Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) will be a perfect Conan. Remember him as the Scorpion King, he looked like what a Conan would look like. According to the comic books and paperback books.

    of all remakes this one didnt need doing the first 1 was great the graphics wasnt to bad and no one can out do arnie as conan cus viewers wont have none of it its like getting someone else to play rambo or john mcclane it wouldnt work!

    There is one person who is a bodybuilder from Austria like Arnie, and his name is Roland Kickinger, he's supposed to be pretty good and resemble Arnie....i do agree Arnie was and still is the best.

    he may be the pits as a govenor... but the IS conan! anyone else in his place, simply won't work! it'll be a loser of a film! i for one , i wont even consider seeing it without a couple of the original cast!! they need to either keep the originals or make it completely about someone else...

    Are you a retard? None of those actors would suffice. Only and I mean ONLY Arnold can and ever could be the ONLY conan EVER. All those other douchebags you mentioned, are no way even close to being actors or anyone that could ever fill arnold's shoes as conan. Get for real. Wrestlers and anyone who watches wrestling is lame and arnold was NEVER a wrestler. He was a body builder and an actor.

    Exactly. I don't see how they can make another conan movie or remake without Arnold. It's just not right. Shame on all of them.
