I am quite looking forward to seeing this remake. The old one was very good and Lawrence Olivier was fantastic as Zeus but some of the special effects weren't that good. Hopefully the effects in this will be amazing but not too over the top otherwise it will just look really fake.

I've been saying for years that they need to re-make Clash of the Titans, I loved the movie, and the book, and the actual myths it involves. I'm VERY excited to see this movie.

Why can't Hollywood get a new idea, I am getting tired of all these remakes, most of them sucked!

Clash of the Titans?When i was a kid (about 8 y.o) my dad took me to a movie with the same title.It's not to good movie,but not worst either. When i first heard about the remake,i am very excited.With a much2 better special effect and good cats (Sam Worthington,Ralph Fiennes) it's got to be a good movie.

really cant wait to see this,the original was amazing but film making in general has got so much better if the film is done right then this film can be up there with likes of lord of the rings gladiator etc.it is a classic and sometimes classics dont need to be remade but this could be great!

Just because a movie is a classic does not mean it cannot be remade. I will agree that most classic movies that are remade are not as good as the originals, however it does not mean they are not entertaining. By remaking a movie, it does not invalidate the classic, just gives a new interpretation of it. IF you believe that strongly then don't see the new movie, but quit complaining about it being remade!

Has it finally occurred, that Hollywood has gone dry on ideas for new movies, that they must go back and take those that made such impact on us to remake them? lately the remakes are just garbage, bad actors with bad directors, the visual has improved but that is no reason to remake them.... stop the film rapes, stop the killing of classics, hey if there’s no more movie ideas, well say it and let us live with those movies that are great, even if we see strings or the monsters are of clay I prefer to live in the past rather than a present with bad taste

This is the worse idea ever. Just because technology is better now, doesn't mean that it will make the movie better. This movie is a classic. Like daryl, stop making old movies just because stupid producers and directors think it will make it better. It wont! Clash of the Titans is a movie classic that should not be remade for any reason. Stop this madness, no more remakes!!!

how can you even comtemplate remaking such a classic film? Why dont people come up with new films instead of ruining the classics in this way. fuck, you'll be remaking bluddy ET next!!!!
