I think you should try to get Matt Damon (from the jason bourne series) to be the older Conor. He looks like what I imagine Conor to look like.

P.S. you should stop the artemis fowl series now, it is dragging on alot.

you should write a sequal to Airman, it was the first one of your books that I read and it would be great to have a sequal of Airman to read because Bonvalian might still be alive. I've read Artemis Fowl 1 and 2, I'm getting the next one tomorrow. see ya.

When I read Airman, I found it so interesting, that when my brothers and sister and I went outside, I just brought that book outside and read (it was the part when conor gets pounded in that bell) while the others were playing around. Months later I decided to write a story of my own. The way how you wrote that book inspiered me to write a novel of my own. Looking back at that book told me it's ok to write a novel like a live action movie. I f you want, I can tell you what it's about and the title. Yesterday I saw your interview, it gave me an oppertunity to know somethings about you. You said that they're having a bit of trouble with the script for Airman (I don't see why they would if they want change anything, there isn't really anything to change), but I can't wait 'til it's finished; when I finished reading it I just kept going on, and on, and on about it. Saying it was one of the best books I've read, how it was better than the Inkheart trilogy, and that it should be made a movie and now here we are, all excited about the movie, and how awsome it will be (unless if they make it to where it's nothing like the book, just like they did with Inkheart). Well that's about all I have to say, so bye.

    Mr. Colfer,
I just got finished reading airman a few days ago and I knew that someone would be smart enough to make a movie out of it. I stumbled across a page that said it was under development. I myself am a 14 year old actor with parents who have been in several minor and larger movies, one could win an award and a performance opportunity in Scotland, Mirrored Times is the name. Anyway I am an experienced actor, and I have many Irish and Scottish citizens. I just wanted the opportunity to let you know that even if I was considered to audition for this part I would be eternally grateful.
    Thanks,
    C. Dinsmore

I thought the book was amazing, it's one of the best I ever read and I also think I would be a great Conor character. It sounds like I have some of the characteristics of Conor.

OMG I LOVE LOVE LOVE EOIN COLFER and I am SOOOOOO happy they are finally making a movie out of Airman (animation? PLEASE LORD NO THERE HAS TO BE REAL ACTORS!!!) Just for the record, Eoin Colfer is the single most brilliant author IN THE WORLD! He's got the most AMAZING character development (Artemis Fowl especially) and always manages to spin some humor into even the most serious situations. Plus, I've gotta say that it takes a genius to realistically portray a genius character (again, Artemis Fowl). I would totally DIE to meet or talk to Eoin Colfer, so if anybody hears of a chance to do this, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post a review and let me know!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!! BYE : D

Hi Nicole- someone sent your post from way back in 2009 to me. It's nice to know I have readers like you out there in the universe- I hope the Airman movie is to your liking- I have met Gil, the director, and we really hit it off- so I have sky high hopes.
Hopefully they will get going on the Artemis movie now too. I am working on the 7th book which will be out in the Summer- it's called the Atlantis Complex. I hope you like it.
    Best,
    Eoin. (pronounced: O-wen)
