About the film:
A chance encounter with a young girl, Nicole, at his mother’s grave changes Joseph's life forever. He spends the next twenty years trying to nurture a relationship with his distant father while he and Nicole become creative partners in a series of children's books. Joseph is caught in a world between reality and delusion after his father dies. Those closest to him are desperate to be there in his fight for serenity, as they watch the confusion unfold. Has Nicole, his source of creativity, been a figment of his imagination all along?
