I haven't enjoyed a WWII movie so much since I saw The Rocketeer just pure fun with leabkile characters. My only disappointment is that he wakes up in the present and we won't see Jones again. I don't know why The Rocketeer isn't well known and appreciated. It has a perfect tone and a pair of great performances by Alan Arkin, slightly crazy inventor friend, and Timothy Dalton, marvelous as the Hollywood heart-throb villain. I'm grateful somebody remembered and tapped Johnston to direct Captain America.
