About the film:
The film is about Mo, a gentle bookbinder with an extraordinary secret. His daughter Meggie loves books but Mo has refused to read aloud to her since her mother disappeared years before. However, after a mysterious stranger visits them, father and daughter go into hiding to escape from the clutches of a villainous ruler and his band of rogues.
