I am a Professor of History. I have also been a great fan of yours since watching you on Mayberry. The story of the Conquest of Mexico is fascinating. I have written a script and attempted to stay true to the actual event. Both Cortes and La Malinche, a.k.a Dona Marina or Malinalli, share in the honor or shame of this epic adventure. I have visited both VeraCruz and Mexico City.
I believe that YOU would do this magnificent story the justice it deserves.

I just hope the movie is historically correct. William Prescott's "The Conquest of Mexico" would be a good objective guide. The movie would actually need to be a Trilogy. The heroic deeds done by both the Aztecs and the Allies should not be discounted.

I am currently writing my thesis about the "Renditions of La Malinche" and I just came accross your movie... I was wondering when the movie will be released and if it would be possible to get hold of the work asap because that would be an unbelievable opportunity ...
